Join us for the very first Ecstatic Dance Durham event! This is a unique opportunity to experience dance in a whole new way. We'll be gathering at The Brooklin Community Centre (old church, not library) at 45 Cassels Road East, Brooklin (Whitby), ON on Mon Jun 12 2023 at 7:00 PM.
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice that encourages self-expression and creativity through dance. There are no steps to learn, no right or wrong way to move, and no judgment. Just let yourself move to the music and feel the energy of the space.
By many, it is considered a spiritual experience. For some, it is a form of meditation, and for others it is simply a fun way to exercise and move their body.
